TGBN member Sean O’ Farrell will open his farm for a guided nature walk. This organic farm has recently been accredited as a as a Discovery Primary Science Centre.

Landscape and Irish Art, Cabragh Wetlands, Tuesday 25th. August
Local historian, Jimmy Duggan will lead a walk through the Wetlands, making connections between landscape and culture. This starts at 7pm. After tea/coffee there will be a lecture on Irish landscape painting by Art Historian Kate Walsh. Entitled Place, Space & Identity it will look at Irish Landscape painting and the artists response to the landscape
