Thurles Students visit Cloncannon Biofarm

Pres Ag Science Thurles 9 (1)

Leaving Cert Biology/Ag. Science students from the Presentation Secondary School, Thurles enjoyed engagement in Agro-Ecology at Cloncannon Biofarm. Their favourite activities included identifying animal breeds, grassland management, animal diseases and placing the disease agent in the relevant phyla. Trapping smaller creatures and performing quantitative studies was a hit with others in the pleasant October sunshine with a scenic back drop.
