Éasca Living Building Challenge event – Case studies from the Cloughjordan Ecovillage
Please join us for this workshop which highlights the green building projects that have been built in the Ecovillage in Cloughjordan. The workshop begins with an introduction to the Living Building Challenge, and an overview of the imperatives and criteria used to measure projects in this system. Using the Cloughjordan Ecovillage as a case study, we will discuss how certain aspects of the Living Building Challenge were met by specific buildings and how other aspects could not be met due to regulatory or logistical challenges. Participants are encouraged to discuss how those challenges can be overcome in the future and how we can move towards a Deeper Green approach to design and construction in Ireland.Date:Location: WeCreate Workspace, Cloughjordan Ecovillage, Co Tipperary
