Piedmontese beef is a artisan food company owned by two farmers based in Thurles Co. Tipperary and Stradbally Co. Laois where they breed and rear Irish Piedmontese cattle. This breed of cattle first originated from the Piedmont region of Northern Italy. What differentiates our meat from conventional beef is that our beef is so lean and tender and contains less than 2% fat, is high in omega 3, and much lower in calories and cholesterol than conventional beef,chicken and salmon.
Piedmontese beef also takes less cooking time, resulting in a more accentuated flavour. Our beef is ideal for those following a weight loss plan and who want to experience healthy enjoyable lifestyles. Most importantly our beef is produced on Bord Bia approved farms and is fully traceable from our farms to the plate. We recently won gold at the great taste awards for our stir-fry, mince and rib eye steaks.
Piedmontese beef currently supply our artisan beef to restaurants, retailers, online and are currently expanding into the health market.
